The true measure of our
lifespan is not how many years we can live for but for how
many moments of our lives we can stay fully awake, fully present, fully aware.
If we added up all our moments of presence over our
entire lifetime, I wonder how many hours it would come to. I wonder how many
hours we’ve been truly alive.
So much time passes and we continue as if asleep, unaware of the magic of simply being.
